Emma grew up in Richmond, VA, well before it was the hip new place for millennials to move. She now (usually) resides in Brooklyn, NY. In between she earned her BFA from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
Emma works in all mediums, from stage to screen to voiceover. She's worked internationally from Barcelona to Italy to Shanghai, from commercials to performing in malls (that's a good story) to Shakespeare. Her TV credits include 'Bull', 'Gossip Girl', and a docu-series she can't announce yet that's premiering on CNN+ later this year.
She made her writer/directorial debut with her short film, 'Inspira', which won Best First time Filmmaker with the LA Independent Women Film Festival & Best Lockdown Project with The Bridgeport Film Festival. It made its NYC Premiere with the Queens World Film Festival. Watch it on the Media page!
She has an acoustically-treated VO recording booth at home with a studio-grade mic and Source Connecr. Her voice can be heard on commercials for Toyota, Doordash, Pure Protein, Vyza, and the popular Youtube series, Dodo Kids.
Emma is the owner of Bushwick Self Tapes, the first and only self tape studio in Bushwick, Brooklyn. She enjoys coaching actors and making the self tape process fun and accessible for all. IG: @bushwickselftapes
For most of the pandemic she was a co-host of the podcast, Are These Books Drunk?, a book club with a twist. While they're not currently putting out new episodes, you can listen to the library on Spotify.
Emma's training has included: UCB, Kimball Studio, the Markland Studio, and intensives with Larry Moss & Bob Krakower.
